Ian, Tammy, and Audrey DredgeWe were thrilled to announce this morning that the Rev’d Ian Dredge has been appointed as Associate Minister to the Anglican Church of Noosa. We will officially welcome Ian, his wife Tammy, and daughter Audrey on Sunday, December 15th. Please pray for the entire family as they make the transition from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and that God might also be readying us to welcome them. Give thanks to God for this great appointment and for all the opportunities ahead of us and we continue to seek to grow closer to our community for God’s glory. Ian (and Tammy!) bring a range of gifts and talents to us and it is a great privilege to partner in the Gospel together.

Here is a brief note from Ian:

Brothers and sisters in Christ – greetings! It is a thrill to join your community as Associate Priest – here is a little about us: I am currently at Trinity Anglican Mission at Robina on the Gold Coast. I was appointed there as curate but for the past 18 months have been in charge after the Rector returned to the UK. Prior to that appointment I was an SU Chaplain at Benowa SHS, then Chaplain at St Hilda’s Anglican Girls School. My interesting fact: I was a baker/pastry cook before responding to God’s call to ministry.

I married my beautiful wife Tammy in 2007. She is a midwife at Logan Hospital and is also a Yoga instructor. We had our first child, Audrey Hope, in June – she is such a joy and blessing to our home.

I love to worship The Lord and am humbled that we have been led me into such an amazing position and, together, we look forward to getting to know you all and serving The Lord!
