Fifty seven women from across all four services of our church gathered Feb. 24-26, 2017, at Altitude on Montville for a weekend of rest, teaching, small group discussion, worship, fellowship, and prayer. (Open only a short time before we came, Altitude on Montville is an outstanding venue and we were grateful for the staff’s amazing help and service.)
Musician/Bible teacher Teresa Sugar from Nashville, TN, in the U.S., led us in worship and taught on Romans 12 around the theme: “Lives of Worship.” It was a great time together, learning more about what it means to follow Jesus together and reflect his grace and love as a community of friends to those around us.

Hear what a few women said:
“As soon as I heard about the retreat, I wanted to go. The more I heard about it from Jo, the more convinced I was that God wanted me to attend. One reason was to have a break and rest which I am happy to say I achieved. More importantly, I wanted to deepen my relationship with God, and I achieved this too. I took home knowing that God’s love is unconditional and underpins everything we do. To help me live my daily faith I am trying to live my life according to Romans 12 which was the scripture base for the retreat, and which, we studied in detail.”—Rosie Aggs
“I loved Teresa’s teaching. The entire retreat reinforced for me what we’ve been learning in Women of Wisdom: what it means to live loved.”—Elma Samson
