“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”—John 1:14

God’s Only Son, Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, longs to make “his dwelling among us” and to reveal his grace and truth to us in the day to day. But how do we live well with Him, and reflect his grace and truth to others for His glory? How can we live out his love?

Come join us as we explore these questions, insights and stories around John 1, Christ’s Grace and Truth. What a joy it’ll be for women from across the Anglican Church of Noosa to gather for our second retreat and enjoy a rich time of teaching, fellowship, fun and rest!

Saturday, 24 Feb.-Sunday, 25 Feb. 2018, 9am (Saturday)-1pm (Sunday) in Montville, only an hour’s drive from Noosa!

Our Speaker: Alison Whalley. Alison is an actor/occasional speaker who loves the creative challenge of taking God’s words to various people in various ways. She is excited about what the Lord will teach her on grace and truth that she can share at the ReTreat: “There will be laughter,” she says, “there will be truth, there will be His girls gathering around His word.”  An active member of her parish Church by the Bridge in Sydney, Alison spoke at our 2017 Church Lenten Series. We are so grateful she can join us for the weekend! (Listen to Alison’s Lenten talk, “Help for Our Struggles: How Apathy Becomes Enthusiasm”  here.)

Accommodation: We’ll be staying at the Montville Mountain Inn Resort, although there are also a limited number of rooms available in Altitude on Montville.  The conference itself will be in St Mary’s Church Hall, which is just across the road from Montville Mountain Inn Resort and a 10 minute walk from Altitude. Saturday lunch/dinner and Sunday breakfast provided!
