Around 130 gather each Sunday for this contemporary service at 9.30am. Though the service has its formal elements, the music and vibe of the service means it has a modern and welcoming feel.
Each week we wrestle with a passage from the Bible – what it meant in its context and what the Lord is saying to us through it today. Most weeks, we share communion together, recalling and celebrating all that Jesus has done for us in his death and resurrection. We’d love to have you join us for the service and then for morning tea. For more information, please contact the Rev’d Mark Calder at the parish office or by email.
Kids at the Anglican Church of Noosa can join us for a totally explosive morning of checking out the Bible, playing cool games, getting crafty and hanging out with other kids. We aim to engage kids with an enriching church experience centered on Jesus. Because people learn in different ways, we use a variety of methods to deliver the Bible’s message that God wants to be friends with us. And we want to be friends with you, too! If you’ve got any questions about Dynamite, contact our Children’s Ministry Leader, The Rev’d Simon Keith.
At SIX.THREE.OH. at 9:30, we get to take some time out after the sermon to pull it apart and really think about what was being said. We also discuss practical ways in which it can be applied to the student’s lives. We split into males and females and find a place around the grounds to sit around. It is a very relaxed environment where anyone can put their opinions or experiences into the discussion. For more information about SIX.THREE.OH., contact our Youth Administrator, Michael Calder.
The 9.30am contemporary service takes place at our Tewantin site (17 William Street, Tewantin, QLD 4565).
