We begin with an overview of the cultural situation and the development of the ideas that have brought us to where we are.
We will then work through the LGBTQIA acronym – and what all those letters mean – as well as some of the new terms being used around sex and gender.
We then turn to the Bible, to see what it has to say about sex and gender and how it speaks to the current confusion.
Finally, we outline a series of principles to guide our pastoral response to the issues and those affected by them.
